The Carabinieri of Petilia Policastro, together with the staff of the Labor Inspectorate Unit of Crotone, carried out a series of checks on some production activities in the area to verify compliance with the regulations on safety and regular work.
During inspections in a company that produces radiators and boilers, the military found two workers without contracts and a video surveillance system installed without the required authorizations.
For the irregularities found, fines of approximately 12 thousand euros were imposed and the suspension of the activity was ordered until the employees were fully regularized.
The operation is part of a broader activity to combat illegal work and violation of safety regulations, a commitment that involves the territorial stations and specialized departments of the Army to guarantee legality and protection of workers.
