Paolo Mascaro is running for mayor again in the next local elections in spring 2025.
After two consecutive council meetings, the mayor in office is strongly determined to return to the field «to give continuity to the administrative activity carried out in recent years, especially in the last three years, in which the city of Lamezia has obtained more than positive results, acquiring notable stability. Goals that have been desired for a long time, such as the approval of the PSC, have been achieved – claims Mascaro. On an economic-financial level we have finally averted the pre-disaster while Multiservizi has exited the pre-bankruptcy agreement.” The mayor is keen to point out that 17 projects with a single value of around 9 million euros will soon be launched in the city area; all Pnrr funds intercepted thanks to the rich and varied projects presented by the municipal offices which managed to bring the sum of approximately 150 million euros to Lamezia. As regards the candidacy, Mascaro has the approval and full support of Forza Italia, the party he joined about a year ago, after having run twice on civic lists only.
“Forza Italia – reiterates the mayor – is cohesive on a fundamental point and that is that it should be Tajani’s blue party that expresses the mayoral candidate for the centre-right”. Mascaro vigorously defends the results achieved such as having assigned all the available lots in the Pip area of Rotoli intended for production activities; another success is the construction sites that are springing up in the Api area. And then there is the Borgo Antico of the Icom of Noto «which will be a driving force that will bring great development and well-being to the entire city».
