There is no particular news on the “accounts” affair of the Municipality of Lamezia Terme, a dispute that is involving political parties, current and past administrators: the feeling is almost that of a dog chasing its tail, at least if one hears the continuous requests for clarity from various quarters which, evidently, have not yet been given a satisfactory answer. Not even, in part, was that of the former mayor Paolo Mascaro, at least as regards the PD councilor Gennarino Masi who just yesterday announced that he would propose to the Council a commission of inquiry into the famous deficit.
«Last February’s resolution of the Court of Auditors – which approved the rebalancing plan after ten years – tells another story, which starts from the structure of the plan adopted in 2013, readopted in 2014 and then remodulated several times by the Mascaro administration» declared Masi regarding the administrative management of recent years, while on the recent resolution of the Murone Council there are fears that it may not be sufficient «to provide a solution to the structural issues highlighted by the Court».
