This evening, following an inspection by the Fire Brigade, in the Pettogallico area, the municipal civil protection in collaboration with the local police evicted two families. The inspection revealed a danger of landslide/landslide presumably generated by the latest rains which could jeopardize the static safety of the two real estate units below. The evicted people found accommodation with relatives and in an accommodation facility temporarily made available by the Municipality.
Rescue activities and inspections by the Local Police and the Municipal Civil Protection continue unabated. And for tomorrow afternoon, according to the latest press release from the regional Civil Protection, a further worsening of the weather conditions is expected with strong winds, storm surges on exposed coasts and heavy rainfall.
