Calabria has already welcomed a visit from the new pontiff. It was June 2019 when Father Robert, as the Augustinian nuns of the Monastery of Rossano still remember him, arrived in the city to bless and open what is the only monastery of Sant’Agostino in Calabra. In fact, it was he who suggested the bishop of the era Monsignor Marcianò, who had invited the Augustinian nuns to settle in this edge of Calabria, to make available a structure of the archdiocese pending the construction of the new monastery that today actually.
