Twenty-six episodes as a veteran, then the evening you won’t forget. Serena Truncellito, a pharmacist from Mormanno, in the province of Cosenza, was the protagonist of a high-voltage match on Affari Tuoi, the Rai 1 program hosted by Stefano De Martino.
A long wait, that of Serena, who after 26 episodes as a “veteran” competitor finally arrived at the center of the scene with her package. He initially drew the number 1, but during the course of the game he decided to change it to the number 9.

Until the decisive moment, when only two parcels remained: the one for 20 thousand euros and the one for 100 thousand euros. At that point the Doctor tried to convince Serena to stop, making an offer of 50 thousand euros. An important sum, which would have guaranteed a certain win. But the Calabrian pharmacist chose to take a risk.
Serena said no to 50 thousand euros and decided to rely on fate, with the hope of having kept the highest prize in the package. The choice proved to be a winning one. In fact, in his package number 9 there were 100 thousand euros. An applause-worthy conclusion for Serena, who after 26 episodes of waiting transformed her participation in Affari Tuoi into an evening to remember: she refused 50 thousand euros and doubled her stake, taking home the maximum prize still in play.
