The stalemate on the measure for publishing funds in the budget is broken, one of the last measures expected to be voted on in the Senate Budget Committee. The measure filed provides for the return of the Fund to 60 million euros for 2026, to be allocated for the various purposes under the responsibility of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers who will establish how to allocate them, after a reduction in resources for local TV and radio had been feared.
The cut in funds to Rai to rationalize spending remains but is reduced to 10 million euros only for 2026 instead of 30 in the next three years.
