The government gave a favorable opinion on the League’s agenda for the maneuver which asks to sterilize the increase in the retirement age expected from 2027. The text commits the executive to evaluate the opportunity to reconsider the measure which provides for an increase in the requirements of one month from 2027 and three months from 2028, adopting any regulatory initiatives to suspend it, compatibly with public finance constraints.

Confidence confirmed and final vote today

On Monday the Chamber confirmed the government’s confidence in the measure with 219 votes in favor and 125 against. The examination of the agendas was concluded during the night. The Assembly will meet again today, 30 December, for the explanations of vote and the final green light for the Budget law.

Flat tax for young people and incremental: commitments to be evaluated

Favorable opinion, again with reference to the sustainability of public finances, also to another agenda of the League which commits the government to evaluate the introduction of a flat tax for young people, with the aim of counteracting the flight abroad and the loss of human capital. The measure takes up an amendment already rejected in the Senate due to lack of coverage.

Green light, with reformulation, also on the agenda which asks to evaluate the restoration of the incremental flat tax for the tax year 2026, with declarations in 2027.
