The countdown begins for the New Year’s Eve concert which will see the Cosenza singer-songwriter Brunori Sas perform on the stage set up in Piazza dei Bruzi, who will, as is known, donate his personal fee to five local voluntary associations. «The end-of-year concert with Brunori Sas, an artist from Cosenza deeply linked to his land, represents a special occasion for celebration, culture and sharing for our city». This was stated by the mayor, Franz Caruso, who further underlines: «Cosenza is particularly proud of the gesture of great solidarity made by the artist, who chose to donate the fee for the concert to voluntary associations». Before Brunori’s performance (the concert is scheduled to start at 12.30am), starting from 11pm, some local artists will warm up the audience and the audience. Before the countdown, the Cosenza night approaching the new year will start with Franco Siciliano’s DJ set. Followed by performances by Speedy (aka Francesco Servidio), the Chinghios (the boys from Cosenza who were born almost as a joke and became a pop phenomenon), Francesco Garenna, Giuseppe Rimini, aka Dj Kerò, Paola Pizzino, Giovanni Segreti Bruno and Federica Greco (the lineup with the order of entry is being finalized). New Year’s Eve will end when Brunori Sas leaves the stage in Piazza dei Bruzi, with a DJ set by Piero Tucci from Cosenza.
