Protest this morning in front of the Cargill gates. The workers today showed their strong presence to protest against the dismissal procedure initiated by the company. The institutions also wanted to show their closeness to the workers, with the presence of the mayors of Pace and Milazzo, regional disputes and local politicians, all united in front of the gates to discuss the situation.
The requests are clear: stop or slow down the dismissal procedure; give interested buyers time to obtain the documentation to formulate an offer and acquire the plant; relaunch local investments.
