Messina, a chasm opens between via Industriale and via Trieste

A hole so deep that it could swallow a car. It is the one that was formed at the corner between the industrial street and the via Trieste. A real chasm that suddenly opened in the asphalt and that has put motorists at risk, pedestrians who travel those streets every day, a stone’s throw from the city center. The hole was cordoned off with an orange network and reported also because it is so deep that it represents a real danger. The asphalt is deep so much that there were even traces of the ancient masonry sewer. It is yet another hole that opens in the city streets. Despite the interventions to repair the crackled asphalt, in recent months the streets of the center have become real traps for motorists and motorcyclists forced to dangerous slaloms to not end up in the hole.
