Today at 10.30 am there was a rupture between the trade unions. and the RSU of the Municipality of Messina and the Public Part Negotiating Delegation. The final proposal presented at the table for the former PEO (Horizontal Economic Progressions) 2023 did not find the approval from the unions in the part relating to the request to have all employees sign a release with which they undertake not to appeal to the courts. A technical/legal absurdity in conflict with regulations and trade union prerogatives and which effectively postpones the application of the PEO 2023 with related salary adjustment and payment of arrears from January/2023 to today.
Postponing this PEO 2023 contractual application will result in significant economic and legal harm for years to come! Solutions that are always penalizing for municipal employees! We also remember the long-standing problems still open and closed in the general director’s drawer such as the Agile Work Regulation, the Vertical Progressions Regulation, meal vouchers, the failure to establish the former POs and the establishment of the 2025 Fund.
