Emotion and introspection in the Irama showcase underway in a crowded Piazza Duomo for the Municipality’s poster “The magical events of Christmas in Messina”. The focus is on his hits and the pieces from his latest album “Antologia della vita e della morte”, published last October for Warner Music Italy and first in its debut in the FIMI/NIQ charts.
An intimate album that intertwines the themes of memory, loss and rebirth, in which the singer-songwriter from Carrara (born Filippo Maria Fanti) collaborates with artists of the caliber of Achille Lauro, Giorgia, Davide Rossi (internationally renowned Italian producer, who has worked with Coldplay and Duran Duran) and Elodie, with whom he duets in the single “Ex”, among the most broadcast songs of the year.
Also from the new work is the Sanremo song “Lentamente”, written with Blanco; the ballad “Senz’anima”, released in November, and “Tu no”. Opening in style with the 2022 songs “5 drops” and “Ali”, followed by “Galassie”, taken from the latest work. Among the pieces from the past are the festival pieces “La Ragazza col cuore di latta” (2019) and “Ovunque ordini” (2022), “Mediterranea”, “Nera” and “Hollywood”, recorded with Rkomi in 2023. Opening the evening, introduced by the journalist and presenter Giovanni Remigare, the Messina artists Gesuè Pagano and Annalaura Princiotto, finalists in the first edition of the Rtp talent show “The Stage”, and the Giada Giordano from Milan.
