It is expected for Tomorrow Thursday 5th September the nstandardization of water distribution through the network, throughout the city and villages, suspending the distinction between zones A and B for the time being in the city center made necessary to regulate the emergency supply in order to guarantee a flow of greater power to the most disadvantaged users.
While waiting for the tanks to fill up ‘at full capacity’ to allow the expected normal water distribution, assistance to the population and replacement water supply continue, with tankers and civil protection vehiclesguaranteed by the coordination structure of the Municipality of Messina, the Municipal Operations Centre (COC), which can be reached at the single number 090-22866.
There are 14 vehicles providing assistance in all areas where critical issues are encountered.
Today alone, the COC has received so far 145 refueling requests by tankers and modules, mostly from the areas of Viale Regina Elena, via Quod Quaeris, Torrente Trapani, Via S. Jachiddu, Viale Giostra, CEP and the villages of Torre Faro, Mortelle and Ganzirri.
The COC activity will continue until 20:00 and the distribution of supplies by vehicle will continue until 02:00 on September 5th.while the 4 fixed water supply stations that AMAM and the Municipality of Messina have set up to support citizens remain accessible 24 hours a day:
