Operation of the prison police officers inside the Gazzi district house. Between May 31 and June 1, a seizure of 26 grams of hashish was made, intended for internal drug dealing, and a smartphone, found in two cells of the “mobile” department.
The result was welcomed with satisfaction by the FP CGIL. The Secretary General Francesco Fucile and the provincial coordinator Giovanni Spanò underlined how the operation confirms “the quality of the work done daily by the agents, who operate with professionalism and dedication”.
In the meantime, the appointment of the new commander of the department, the manager Paolo Li Marzi, has been made official. The FP CGIL expressed appreciation for the assigned assignment, remembering how the absence of a command figure represented a criticality for the Messina prison. “We are very happy with the new appointment – they declare rifle and spanò – because in such a delicate situation it is essential to have a competent guide”.
