Second consecutive away win, again 1-0 for Messina who, after Augusta, also passes to Gioiosa, but beyond the result it is a team that has shown signs of growth. Against the Granata we saw not only physical progress, with the athletic condition improving game after game, but above all mental. The team scores at the start, comes close to doubling the lead several times and knows how to suffer, with the right attitude of those who have entered the category.
It is the most important aspect, in addition to the result, underlined by coach Alfio Torrisi because, despite some risks, Messina withstood local pressure well: «The concept is becoming clear that points can be lost anywhere, considering the value of the teams and the environments in which they play. We did well because mentally we are ready and we fell into the category.”
