The Municipality of Messina has ordered aClosing order for a stretch of the Via Santa Marta (in correspondence with the railway bridge) due to a road failure and commissioned the AMAM to verify the nature of the problem.
There are currently no certainties on the timing of reopening the artery tomorrow, excavations will be performed to better investigate the causes and plan the intervention.

On the artery, now, a “buffer” intervention will be carried out to empty the stretch from the debris, put back and then restore the transferred section. Intervention that – in the forecasts of the municipal administration – should last about a week and should thus allow the reopening of the road.
