The League continues to grow in Messina too. The municipal councilor of the Mixed Group Cosimo Oteri passes with the party of minister Matteo Salvini, the first council group in the city. District councilor for ten years before arriving in the Chamber, in the last administrative elections Oteri was the sixth most voted in the Peloritan capital. The officiality of his move to the League arrives on the day of the presentation of the party’s regional team in Serradifalco, in the presence of the national deputy secretary Claudio Durigon.
“I want to give a strong signal of gratitude towards a man who defended the national borders – declared Oteri. Today I join the League with the spirit of the many outraged citizens, who also in our Sicily believe in the goodness of Minister Salvini’s political action. We appreciated the good governance policies towards the South, Messina and Sicily, starting from the bridge over the Strait, which with the related works is already a great attractor of investments, economy and tourism: things that Sicily badly needs . The over 30 billion already put on the ground to create a strategic infrastructure together with RFI’s investments which will favor progress and high capacity in Sicily – adds Oteri – are the demonstration that the League wants to focus on the South and also relaunch Sicily, to which the party of Matteo Salvini has been looking very carefully for some time now, carrying forward a national spirit that wants to give a voice to all the territories, from North to South.
