A difficult situation, the one presented by the trade union organizations and the unitary representatives of the Municipality, among doubts, claims and also the fear that there may not be sufficient liquidity for the payment of salaries to the employees of Palazzo Zanca. This is the reason for the discussion that took place yesterday afternoon between the representatives of CGIL, CISL, UIL, CSA, Silpol and the RSU and the Commissioner’s Office, headed by the prefect Piero Mattei, with the support of his deputy, Bernardo Campo.
An “in-depth” meeting which served to address the issues on the table and also to clarify the main issues relating to the problems raised regarding the organizational and remuneration aspects concerning municipal staff.
The trade union organizations recalled that for some time there have been critical issues, which had been brought to the attention of the outgoing Administration, “exacerbated – the unions underline – due to non-punctual responses, which did not allow exhaustive information to be given to the respective members”. The extraordinary commissioner provided the requested clarifications and made a commitment to maintain constant dialogue with the workers’ representatives for the entire period leading up to the elections of 24 and 25 May.
