In short, they want to avoid complications and therefore they turn to Milazzo, obviously also passing through the Emergency Room which continues to ensure a service that is out of the ordinary in terms of performance. Some data: from January 1st to today, there have already been 21,300 accesses, of which 3,500 in the month of July alone. A fact that contrasts with the lack of personnel that is reiterated once again by the unions. «Today the “Fogliani” hospital represents the only emergency service in a vast territory – says Dr. Joseph Giannettosecretary of Cimo – and the hospital in Milazzo, despite itself, acts as a lightning rod.
