Cosenza Calcio announces that it has acquired the right to the sporting performances, with the temporary transfer formula, of the footballer Mohamed Sankohfrom Stuttgart. Sankoh, a central striker born in 2003, has signed a deal valid until June 30, 2025 with an option and counter-option. Born in Sierra Leone, but of Dutch nationality, Sankoh made his mark at a young age in Sparta Rotterdam, his childhood club. Having moved to Stoke City in the summer of 2018, he has scored nine goals and as many assists in 16 appearances in the English U18 Premier League.
A striker with physical power, speed and an eye for goal, he was bought by Stuttgart and, in April 2021, made his Bundesliga debut in the match against Leipzig. In his recent career, experiences in the Eredivisie with Vitesse first and then with Heracles Almelo, a team with which last season he collected 28 appearances in the league and 6 goals.
He played for the Dutch youth national team on six occasions, scoring twice.
