After a few years from the closure, due to the eviction by the owners of the property, the new post office in Monsoreto di Dinami, the most populous village in the municipality (not among the most populous in the municipality) was inaugurated and reopened yesterday (Thursday 2 January) but more populous than the municipality itself), which will once again be able to benefit from an indispensable service. The ceremony was short but intense, in the presence of the mayor, Nino di Bella, part of the administration, the carabinieri of the local station, who thanked the mayor, and the blessing of the premises by the parish priest, Don Angiolo Solano. The cutting of the ribbon by the retired Brigadier Ciurleo, who will turn 100 next year, is a good omen. This was announced by the mayor himself, who was committed to the important result at the general management of “Poste” and, at the end of 2023, granted the new premises on loan at a disused primary school in the populous hamlet.
Nino di Bella who, commenting on the initiative, expressed: «personal satisfaction, and that of the entire administration, for the reactivation of a necessary service, in suitable and welcoming spaces for all citizens, to which the requested economic services can be profitably offered. I express my thanks to “Poste Italiane” – he concluded – for their efforts in maintaining their presence in Monsoreto. Symbol of closeness and desire to serve the population, as well as the Administration I represent. Citizens now need to maintain and enhance this presence of great social value for the community.”
