Alex Marquez wins the Spanish Grand Prix, valid for the 2026 MotoGP World Championship. The Spanish rider from the Ducati Gresini team triumphs ahead of Marco Bezzecchi’s Aprilia, which confirms its leadership in the championship. His compatriot Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati VR46) also gets on the podium, while the other Aprilia Factory of Spaniard Jorge Martin finishes in fourth place. The two Aprilia Trackhouses of Ai Ogura and Raul Fernandez follow in fifth and sixth position, preceding the Frenchman Johann Zarco (Honda Lcr). Enea Bastianini, Fermin Aldeguer and Pedro Acosta complete the top ten. Both official Ducatis out. Marc Marquez ends up out after a fall on the second lap, while Francesco Bagnaia is forced to retire shortly after half the race due to a bike problem.
