Bad luck haunts Marco Bezzecchi. After finishing badly on the gravel two weeks ago in Assen, the Aprilia rider from Rimini also crashed in the Sachensering qualifying session and suffered a complete and dislocated fracture of his left collarbone. This is the diagnosis of the tests carried out at the circuit’s medical center under the supervision of the medical director of MotoGP, Angel Charte.

Aprilia has made it known that Bezzecchi will have to undergo surgery, an operation that will be performed in Italy by Dr. Giuseppe Porcellini. The rider should therefore return to his homeland today “while between tomorrow and the day after tomorrow he will undergo surgery – Franco Perona, Aprilia’s Chief Medical Officer, tells Sky Sport – He was very confident in these days, let’s hope that everything will be resolved for the best”.
