High head and experience to remember. So we could call it the 74th Trento Bondone of the Catanzaro Scuderia New Generation Racing, which on the weekend just ended has sided with two drivers at the start in the famous Trentino race. The Bondone race was valid for the European mountain championship, for the European historical mountain championship, for the Italian Supersalita championship and for the North Civm. It was three intense days, but positive for the pilots at the start they faced with determination the 17,300 meters of the Trentino route.

In the E2SC-SS 1600, which by regulation is a single class, it presented itself at the start Antonio Paone That after many years of uphill races, he made the goal of running in Trento. For the Tiriolo pilot it was the first time at Bondone and for the occasion it got off the Fiat X1/9 to face this adventure on a Wolf GB08 Thunder, which we remember has a 1000 motorcycle derivation engine. 12th final place for Paone on eighteen verified in class And the same driver has however tried to enjoy this experience and above all to finish it, which was the main objective.

Third place in E1 1400 for Giovanni Paone to his first climb ever after many slalom previously faced. Paone on the Fiat 127 took care above all to arrive and the goal was more than centered. The same pilot originally from Tiriolo has however demonstrated already from Friday, the desire and the right approach to fall into the world of climbs and the Trento experience will surely remain in the heart and mind of Giovanni Paone.

“I do not deny – Antonio Paone said hot – that I was moved under the helmet as soon as I crossed the finish line. I have been running for almost thirty years and I missed Trento Bondone as a race to do. I am really proud to have faced this race that is not easy and it takes so much attention. I go out from this race with the satisfaction of having arrived at the top.”

Giovanni Paone instead said: “I am really happy to be here, it was my first climb and I am proud to have concluded such a demanding race where you must always be super concentrated for all 17 km. Definitely such a race can only grow the experience of a pilot, especially for those like me who come from the slalom. It will be an experience that I will always remember.”
