The biography
Msgr After completing the formation in the Pontifical Theological Seminary “San Pio X” of Catanzaro, he continued his studies in Rome, at the Pontifical Lateran University, where he graduated in canon law.
He was ordained a priest on 11 August 1963 in the cathedral of Squillace, thus starting a long journey at the service of the church. With passion and competence, he carried out several significant roles in the ecclesial life of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Catanzaro-Squillace. He was a vicar general, president of the regional ecclesiastical court, dean of the chapter of the Co -Class, director of the diocesan magazine “New Community” and also received the honorary title of honor of His Holiness.
Estimated for its confidentiality, the profound theological culture and the pastoral dedication, Mons. Facciolo was for decades of reference for priests and lay people.
His life was a silent but eloquent example of loyalty to the Gospel, love for the Church and generous service to the community.
