The electoral campaign in Giardini Naxos is already heating up at the beginning. On Saturday evening, on the stage in Piazza Agorà Monsignor Cingari, during the presentation of the South calls North lists, an anonymous letter was revealed, delivered to the mayoral candidate Salvo Puccio, exponent of the movement in the Naxio town on which the votes of the three groups will converge.
«If you still have a shred of dignity, withdraw – some excerpts of the manuscript text shown publicly – stop parading in the square. You’re just sorry.”
In the letter, delivered in a sealed envelope to the address of the Giardini geologist, a flyer was also included with the warning that “there are a thousand ready like this one which will be scattered around Giardini Naxos to deliver the final blow”. Puccio filed a complaint with the police about what happened and received solidarity from the movement and the Giardino square.
