Change among the majority benches in Gioia Tauro. With a letter registered in the last few hours, the city councilor Antonella Pellegrino has officially resigned from her position.
A decision developed after days of reflection and motivated, in the words of the former councilor herself, by the “sense of responsibility” and the desire to “foster a renewal that allows the Council to work with serenity and continuity”.
Pellegrino, elected from the ranks of the UDC with 168 preferences, was one of the most appreciated representatives of the majority that supports the administration led by mayor Simona Scarcella. In the note he wanted to thank citizens, colleagues and administrators “for the discussion, sometimes even heated but always oriented towards the good of the community” and reiterated that politics, when lived with passion and a spirit of service, “remains a fundamental tool for improving people’s lives”.
