Benjamin Netanyahu has given the order to carry out immediate raids on the Gaza Strip. This was announced by the Israeli Prime Minister’s office. “Following security consultations, Prime Minister Netanyahu ordered the army to immediately carry out powerful strikes in the Gaza Strip.” Israel accuses Hamas of violating the US-brokered ceasefire.

Fire clashes in Rafah between Hamas and IDF

Gun battles occurred today in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, between Hamas militants and IDF soldiers. According to Haaretz, Hamas militants opened fire on IDF forces with snipers and anti-tank missiles and the Israeli military responded with artillery fire.

Last week, two IDF soldiers were killed in Rafah in an attack that the army blamed on Hamas, but the group denied any responsibility.
