Five days of closing the A20 in the stretch between Rometta and Milazzo have been scheduled from next Monday and until Fridayat the end of the meeting in the Prefecture of the Viability Operating Committee. This stop is needed on the Messina Palermo motorway to allow the launch of the new rash to Spadafora, now closed for over 4 years.
The highway will be closed between Rometta and Milazzo starting from one on night and until midnight on Thursday. From that moment on and until 23:59 on Friday the highway will be closed in the opposite direction, then between Milazzo and Rome. Therefore, four days closed in one direction and one day, the last one, in the opposite direction.
All the load of light and heavy vehicles will be diverted to the state road 113 and this obviously will increase the traffic load in the municipalities of the Tyrrhenian belt. To meet the situation and to reduce the discomfort it could be the Irsap Lungomare road which leads from Valdina to San Filippo del Mela a few meters from the entrance of the Milazzo motorway.
