The wave of intimidating acts in Lamezia Terme does not abate. A bottle with flammable liquid and two bullets were placed in front of the entrance to the home of the entrepreneur Franco Perri, owner together with his brothers of the “Due Mari” shopping center. The intimidation was reported by Perri to the police, who are examining, in order to identify those responsible, the images of the cameras of the video surveillance system installed in the area where the entrepreneur lives.
Franco Perri, in 2015, was arrested as part of the “Andromeda” anti-mafia operation, coordinated by the Catanzaro DDA, and then acquitted in 2022. An asset of 800 million euros was confiscated and then returned to the same Perri Group. Just this morning, an open session of the Lamezia City Council took place, at the end of which a unitary document of solidarity with the victims of the intimidation that occurred in recent weeks was approved.
