Burglary against the ticket office of the former health district of San Giovanni, in the upper part of the town, in via Gran Sasso, located on the ground floor of the building owned by the Asp. The loot would reach 4 thousand 240-odd euros. It is practically certain that the theft occurred during the night between Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd, while the discovery of the theft was carried out yesterday morning, when the employees during the opening hours of the offices immediately noticed a break-in at an external side door, and from here the criminals, after having snuck in, would have reached the strongbox from an internal door. The thugs then turned out to be “professionals” in opening the armored cabinet, probably blowing up the cylinders of the safe, probably by means of a silent gunshot or with another “rotating screwdriver coupling” system, and they made a grab for the banknotes and coins.
