The 5 Star Movement opens a new path to build, together with citizens, the government program for the coming years. It does so through the Nova project • Word to Italy which will open one hundred listening points throughout the country from May 16th and 17th.”

This was stated by MP Anna Laura Orrico, Calabrian coordinator of the 5 Star Movement.

“In the local discussion spaces – says Orrico – the themes will not be imposed but proposed by the participants, the discussion will be free, open and self-organised and each contribution will have the same value. But above all the ideas will be collected to become concrete proposals. In Calabria the listening points will be present in all five provinces entrusted to specific local teams: on 16 May in Palmi (Hotel Residence Arcobaleno) and Vibo Valentia (Save the date), on 17 May in Rende (Hotel President) and Lamezia Terme (Chiostro San Domenico), on 20 May in Crotone (Museum and Gardens of Pythagoras). To find out further information, simply follow the social channels of the Movement, we hope that many will participate.

Nova – continues the five-star exponent – which represents the strengthening of a political direction aimed at opening the M5S to the contribution of ideas and energies from civil society, will be possible thanks to the joint commitment of all the territorial components. Starting with the team of coordinators, of which I represent the top, recently reconfirmed by President Conte, whom I thank for the renewed trust given as it gratifies us for the work carried out thus far. In reality, our activity has never stopped and the ambition is to expand the chain of responsibilities and functions between the various components of the Movement.

The challenges – concludes Anna Laura Orrico – are many, from the next administrative competitions throughout the region to the complete rooting in the territories and we want to take them up in order to achieve important objectives to improve the prospects of this land and the Calabrians”.
