This is the objective underlying the measure “Investments” by Ocm vinowhich was published on the portal www.regione.calabria.it (in the Agriculture Department section) the final ranking. In particular, at the end of the preliminary work carried out by the evaluation commission, 48 projects were admitted for financing for the 2023/2024 campaign, for a total value of approximately 1,246,000 euros.
“Objective of the measure – underlines the regional councilor for agricultureGianluca Gallo – it is the affirmation in Calabria of the wine routes, a system of tourist offers that revolves around the production centers of the nectar of the gods, wine bars and wineries and everything that can be traced back to it, or rather a route along which they are located the wine places that can be visited, such as vineyards, companies, cellars, but also reference entrepreneurial activities, such as restaurants, hotels, farmhouses, wine bars”.
Specifically, initiatives aimed at improving the overall performance of the company will be supported, as well as achieving greater competitiveness and encouraging activities linked to the tasting and sale of wine products, also through e-commerce and marketing. ‘wine tourism, providing new possibilities for approaching the market.
“The aim – adds Gallo – is to make the wine sector an increasingly protagonist, in the wake of integrated programming between the sectors of agriculture, tourism and commerce, for a journey through the territory, its excellences, its paths of art and taste and, last but not least, its cellars, with a predisposition to hospitality and receptivity”.
