Over 2.5 quintals of illegal fireworks discovered in Reggio. Also kidnapped in San Ferdinando

The Financiers of the Provincial Command of Reggio Calabria, following an inspection of a commercial establishment, have almost 2 and a half quintals seized of pyrotechnic devices detained in violation of the established public safety regulations and 600 lights without the prescribed requirements.

In particular, during a product safety check at a commercial establishment, the Financiers of the Palmi Company seized around 600 lights that did not meet the safety requirements required for their marketing. During the same intervention, the Fiamme Gialle also found and seized 2.5 quintals of illegally detained pyrotechnic devices because they lacked authorization and were stored in non-compliant premises. The two perpetrators were reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Palmi for possession, illegal trade and failure to report explosive material to the Authority.

Six kilos of homemade fires seized in San Ferdinando

The Carabinieri of the San Ferdinando station reported a local woman, found in possession of explosive material. In particular, during a house search carried out at the lady’s house located in the central area of ​​San Ferdinando, the soldiers of the Carabinieri found inside the garage of the house several boxes containing dozens of homemade fires of various brands weighing total of approximately 6 kg. Among the seized material, in addition to the classic firecrackers and fireworks, a red casing with a fuse was found completely handcrafted and free of classification and labelling.
