Road safety: Mayor Roberto Perrotta establishes the use of the reflective jacket in the Paola area where there are no sidewalks. It is the first ordinance of its kind to be adopted in Calabria. Specifically, pedestrians traveling on state, provincial and urban roads (including road sections in tunnels) within the territory of the municipality of Paola which do not have pavements will be obliged to wear a reflective jacket compliant with the regulations, from half an hour before sunset to half an hour before it rises.
