In recent days, cases of seizure of current accounts against citizens who are in default in paying taxes have been multiplying in the city. In particular, these are the water service bills relating to 2022 and previous years as well as those of the IMU. The sums owed were frozen directly by the banks, following instructions from the company in charge of collection on behalf of the organisation. This is Sogert, a company specialized in the management and recovery of local taxes, which after 60 days from notification will be able to proceed with the direct withdrawal of the sums if the recipients do not present a formal objection.
