A passionate defense. It’s a nerve-wracking wait. Then the verdict. The prosecutor of Paola, Domenico Fiordalisi, was heard by the plenum of the Superior Council of the Judiciary called to decide between the request for transfer to another office and the dismissal proposal formulated by the members of the First disciplinary commission of Palazzo dei Marescialli. The councilors by majority (19 in favour, 8 against, the others abstentions) voted for the removal of the magistrate from his current place of work: he will be assigned to another position outside the judicial district of Catanzaro.
The disciplinary charges against the Paola prosecutor are based on the report sent to the Self-Governing Body by the Catanzaro attorney general, Giuseppe Lucantonio.
