The Polisportiva Contesse of Messina confirms itself among the reference realities of Italian paralympic athletics. Despite numerous absences, the Messina club achieved fourth place in the national rankings at the Fispes 2026 national paralympic athletics final, held last weekend in Jesolo.

An important result, which came at the end of a season characterized by work, sacrifices and constant growth. The athletes of the Polisportiva Contesse managed to achieve impressive performances, going beyond the difficulties and achieving times and measurements of absolute value.

Among the most significant results stands out the new Italian record in the T38 category, with the measurement of 18.48 metres, confirming the high level achieved by the athletes from Messina during the season.

The company wanted to extend special thanks to coach Locandro, the protagonist together with the athletes of the path that led to the results obtained during the entire season and on the weekend of the national final.

The fourth place achieved at Italian level thus represents a further stage in the growth path of the Polisportiva Contesse, which year after year continues to improve not only in terms of results, but also in numbers and in the quality of the work carried out on the track.

A season that therefore ends with important confirmations and with the awareness, for the Messina club, of being able to continue to compete at the highest levels of national paralympic athletics.
