The 48 year old Tuscan, riding a Mariebeautifulwins a historic silver at Chateau de Versaillesin the’Individual Freestyle Grade Iobtaining the second score with 81,407. With a test accompanied by the music “Baby Elephant Walk” (Henry Mancini), “Sons and Lovers” (Percy Faith), “Moonglow” (Bert Kaempfert) and “My Oncle” (Percy Faith), Morganti gives way only to the Latvian Rihards Snikusgold with 82,487. Bronze to the British Mari Durward-Akhurts (77.747); the other Italian in the race finished sixth, Carola Semperboni (74,554).

“I’m very happy, I did more than in Tokyo, what more could I want? I’m speechless,” Sara confessed to the microphones of Rai Sport, with her fourth Paralympic medal after the two bronzes three years ago in Japan and the bronze in the individual paradressage on Tuesday. “My freestyle is very technical, very difficult but there is still room for improvement, I could have done a little better.
