Paravati, reconstructed drug dealing square: carabinieri shot with a silent observation

In recent days, the military have started a targeted observation activity, discovering a tested modus operandi: the suspect went several times a day near a flowerbed near the house, where, depending on the moments, he took or deposited an envelope. A roded system to hide and recover the drugs intended for customers.
The silent observation of the carabinieri, conducted by two teams, has documented more suspicious encounters, including one in Piazza Sandro Pertini with two subjects on board a car. After a rapid exchange, the man returned home and filed an envelope again in the Bisola, while the “customers” were stopped in Ionadi. The search of their vehicle led to the seizure of 7 grams of hashish, intended for personal use.
Subsequently, after further stalking, the carabinieri blocked the suspect near a country house of his owned and led him to the “offending” oven: inside, a dough of hashish weighing over 38 grams. The search of the home made it possible to find 3,780 euros in cash, divided into banknotes of various cuts, considered the proceeds of the drug dealing activity.
The operation, concluded with the arrest in the act of man for detention for the purpose of drug dealing, confirms the constant commitment of the Vibo Valentia prosecutor and the Carabinieri weapon in the fight against the drug dealing squares and in the protection of legality in the area. A strong sign for those who try to resume the reins of drug trafficking: the response of the Mileto carabinieri station remains firm and punctual.
