Jannik Sinner, world number 1 in tennis, will also play the doubles tournament at the 2024 Paris Olympics and will do so together with Lorenzo Musetti. Coni communicated this.

The number of Italians called up for the Paris Olympics has risen to ten. Sara Errani in the women's doubles and Simone Bolelli in the men's doubles have been added to the list already released yesterday. Bolelli will return to live the Olympic dream as Andrea Vavassori's partner who qualified thanks to tenth place in the ranking. Errani, however, returns to the Games by virtue of the ranking with Jasmine Paolini. In addition to Sinner-Musetti, the women's doubles will be formed by Elisabetta Cocciaretto and Lucia Bronzetti. Italian tennis will therefore have four Italians in the men's singles draw (Sinner, Musetti, Matteo Arnaldi, Luciano Darderi), three Italians in the women's singles (Paolini, Cocciaretto, Bronzetti), two couples in the men's doubles and two couples in the women's doubles.
