The blue one Veronica Yoko Plebania 28-year-old from Gavardo, Brescia, won the silver medal in the women’s ParaTriathlon PTS 2 event in Paris 2024. Gold went to the American Hailey Danz, bronze to the other American Allysa Seely. For the Italian, it is the second Olympic medal, in Tokyo 2020 she had won bronze.
The other medal
The Italian pair of Daila Dameno and Paolo Tonon won the bronze medal in the ParaArchery Mixed Team W1 competition at Paris 2024. They did so by beating South Koreans Kim Okgeum and Park Hong Jo 134-132 in the third-fourth place match.
