On a day of solidarity and sharing, the community of Pentonin the heart of the Catanzaro preseila, welcomed the new citizens born in 2024 with the now traditional day of the kindness of the new born. The event, celebrated in the center of the country, involved families, citizens and institutional representatives to pay homage to the little ones, a symbol of hope and rebirth. In line with the UNICEF campaign “The children of the world have the future in common”, the mayor Vincenzo Marino and the councilor for kindness Anna Pullano delivered 11 Pigotte Unicef ​​to families. Pezza dolls, a symbol of solidarity and humanitarian commitment, represent a gesture of attention towards a more fair future. The first citizen expressed enthusiasm for the initiative, defining it a moment not only celebratory, but also a concrete commitment for the well -being and future of children, in line with the values ​​of UNICEF. Particular prominence had the delegation to the kindness, entrusted to Anna Pullano, who with her commitment made Pentone an example of policies oriented to respect, solidarity and welcome. The councilor has promoted several initiatives to strengthen the sense of community and civic values ​​among citizens. Maria Stella Franco, president of the Unicef ​​Provincial Committee of Catanzaro, who recalled how the delivery of the Pigottes is a concrete gesture of solidarity, also intervened to underline the meaning of the ceremony. “These symbols – he said – help Unicef ​​to reach children in danger with vaccines, therapeutic foods, wells and schools.
