The Pizzo ACSI swimming team is preparing to live a highly prestigious international experience. The athletes, who train at the municipal nautical swimming pool of Pizzo, managed by the national lifesaving company Ricadi Tropea section, will leave on April 27th for the Netherlands, City of Geleen.
The delegation will represent Italy with ACSI Italia at the CSIT World Championships, a high-level event that will see athletes from all over the world compete.
The athletes will represent the territory: Alice Scaturchio, Carmela Mazzotta, Charlotte Militare, Sofia Carullo, Domenico Giampà, Alessandro Pettinato, Nicola Pastorino, Tommaso Ruscio. Leading the team will be coach Luigi Pettinato, supported by Pitt companions Maria and Carullo Sergio.
Great satisfaction from the technical and managerial staff, which underlines the importance of the work carried out in the area and the constant growth of the local swimming movement. Participation in a world competition represents not only a sporting achievement, but also an opportunity for personal growth and international comparison for all the athletes involved.
