Reggina easily passed against “Gaeta”, scoring four goals against Enna, and continued their race to the top of the table. The Amaranths strengthened their fourth place in the standings and kept pace with leaders Siracusa (-2 from the top) and Vibonese, third with one point more. Three points were gained for Scafatese, who were overwhelmed at Vibonese’s home.
Poker of goals, therefore, for Reggina, who achieved the third useful result, banishing the bad memories of the defeat in Syracuse, now only two points away, thanks to the seven points obtained by the Amaranths in the last three days of the championship.
The ninth matchday is scheduled for Sunday, at home, at Granillo, against the difficult Paternò, newly promoted to Serie D and currently sixth strength in the group, fresh yesterday from the narrow victory against Igea Virtus.
