Carmar srl returns to full management of the floating piers in the Port of Catanzaro. The restoration of operations is sanctioned by authorization no. 12 of 6 July 2026 issued by the municipal administration, which concludes the process of technical and administrative checks started in recent months.
The matter concerned some alleged discrepancies that emerged with reference to the management of the airport during the period of the previous state concession. During the process, the company, assisted by lawyers Raffaele Ruocco and Francesco Iacopino, began discussions with the Municipality and the competent authorities to clarify all the aspects subject to verification.
Checks completed and complaints overcome
According to what the company reports, the technical and administrative investigations would have made it possible to exclude substantial irregularities, leading to the overcoming of the initially hypothesized disputes, considered unconfirmed or in any case not relevant from a management perspective.
For CARMAR, the outcome of the procedure confirms the correctness of the activity carried out and the reliability of the management model adopted in the Catanzaro port, where the company operates in the yachting sector and services dedicated to superyachts.
Objective to relaunch the tourist port
With the return to full operation, in the company’s intentions, a new phase opens for the Port of Catanzaro, aimed at strengthening recreational and tourist activities and strengthening the role of the port as a strategic infrastructure for the development of the territory.
Carmar has also confirmed its desire to continue investments in the port, aiming to improve the quality of services, guarantee management continuity and consolidate the attractiveness of the port both for local yachtsmen and for large pleasure craft, with the aim of making the capital’s port a new gateway to Calabria by sea.
