Puglia is an extraordinary region. An Italian pearl in which culture and history blend with the beauties of nature, among centuries-old olive trees and breathtaking beaches. Not to mention the food and wine excellences that tell of a culinary tradition to which one can only give in, pace of diet”.

These are some of the passages of the declaration issued by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to the New Daily of Puglia. The Prime Minister is spending a few days of vacation in a farmhouse in Ceglie Messapica, in the Brindisi area, from where she traveled to Albania, as a guest of Prime Minister Edi Rama, close to August 15th.

“Once again this year I have chosen to spend a few days here with my family in August to recharge my batteries – adds the premier – in view of an autumn that will be very demanding and important for Italy. But I will be back soon: it is in fact Puglia is the seat chosen by the government for the G7 2024”.
