The Catanzaro Gup acquitted Antonio Glorioso, defended by the lawyer. Antonio Lomonaco, accused of attempted murder against a street vendor from Catanzaroreclassifying the crime as simple injury.

According to the accusatory hypothesis, last November 2, at the end of a discussion which arose for trivial reasons and was due to previous disagreements, Glorioso took a knife and then threw it at the address of another 50-year-old trader. With a first stab he missed the target, with the second he hit him in the side. According to the Prosecutor's Office, the man carried out “suitable acts aimed in an unequivocal way at causing the man's death, an event that did not occur due to causes beyond his control and in particular due to the people present, who had blocked and removed him”. For these facts, Glorioso was arrested and placed under house arrest.

Today, during the summary judgment requested by the lawyer. Antonio Lomonaco, the prosecutor called for a sentence of 4 years in prison, request which was supported by the civil party represented by the lawyer. Franco Gigliotti. The judge, having heard all the parties, has therefore reclassified the crime as injury, sentencing Glorioso to the final sentence of 5 months and 10 days in prison.
