A victory that qualifies Reggina for the play offs. The Amaranths put away the Canicattì practice already in the first half, spread in the second half up to 5-0 and are preparing to experience the last three days of the regular season as they wait for the post-season. The Strait team is also certain of fourth place. Trocini's men achieved their eighth victory in the last ten home matches, the third consecutive ever. Numbers that tell of a growing end to the season, after a start made complicated by the late start.

There was no match in the Granillo match. The difference in individual quality between the two teams was evident, with the match immediately taking a clear turn. After less than ten minutes, the Amaranths took the lead 2-0, taking advantage of an immediately aggressive approach. The first goal was scored by Provazza. The attacking winger did well to receive a nice through ball from Barillà in the open field and finalize the restart with a touch that went past the opposing goalkeeper Cabriglia. The second signature on the amaranth scoreboard was put by the captain himself. The realization came with a precise header, born from an excellent cross from the left by Porcino. For Barillà also the satisfaction of reaching double figures. The double lead and perhaps also the high temperatures crystallized the rhythm a bit, with the match slipping away towards the end of the first half. Even though not much happened, there was a constant feeling that the hosts were in control of the game and capable of being dangerous at every acceleration. The only Sicilian flash was a conclusion from Bonilla, who came face to face with Martinez, with the amaranth goalkeeper saving on the way out. In the second half, Reggina found the third goal, with the same axis as the first: a deep serve from Barillà and a right-footed shot from Provazza from inside the area. The poker, however, belonged to Renelus: the Frenchman, as soon as he entered, collected a loose ball in the area following the development of a corner and hit the target first. The last goal, however, was by Dervishi: the right winger, who entered during the match, scored a split exploiting a service from Bolzicco in the 95th minute.
